The Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) will soon require partners and vendors doing business in the District of Columbia to maintain a certain level of security compliance according to existing federal and commercial regulations.

This event is to educate our vendor community and DC tech leaders about the importance of data security and begin the process of developing a framework for vendor risk management.

We want all vendors to be familiar with, and follow, our award-winning Data Policy. In this session we will:

· Breakdown of data classification requirements.

· Learn how to integrate policy into projects and operations.

· Discuss data ownership and monetization.

Contracts

OCTO will be including new requirements in all contracts to support risk assessment efforts. Come to this session to discuss:

· How can we make this painless for vendors?
